DISCLAIMER FOR ALL FUTURE SOX/SPORTS RELATED POSTS!****

1) I do not hate the cubs. In fact, there are a rather large amount of players on the team that I adore as people.

2) I absolutley hate the cubs. Does this contradict pt. #1? Yes. But I'm a sox fan and it's honestly in my DNA to hate this team. Pt #1 is to disclaimer that I do not hate any one PERSON on the team just for the simple fact that they play for the cubs. I dislike certain players because of the way that they act/their talent/the things that they do. (i.e, Carlos Zambrano, Milton Bradley...)

3) I have utter disdain for anything cub fan related. There is nothing I dislike more than Cub fans.

4) I do have a small legion of Cub fans that I absolutley adore, despite their being cub fans.. and that is because they have knowledge of the game, and of their team, and dont sit back and say "This is the year!" at the slightest sign of mediocre success.

5) I will put down my team more than I praise them. As a fan I DEMAND the best out of the Chicago White Sox. I have been a fan for 22 years, and I EXPECT them to play with knowledge and smarts.

6) I have been a White Sox fan my entire life. There's nothing else that I know or relate to more than this team, other than my family, my heritage, and my religious upbringing. I thrive on being "southside irish"

7) If you dont like what comes out my mouth, dont read my blog. If you think that I "hate the cubs" more than I love the Sox, just because I get pleasure out of making fun of the team when they screw up, then you need to stop taking life so seriously. The last I checked, I lived in America, and here we were allowed to bitch and make fun of a team as much as we wanted. If you want to make fun of the Sox, go ahead- no one is stopping you. 9/10 I'll join in. I pride myself in my knowledge of the sport and my ability to laugh with and at my team. I was the first one to say "We can't talk.. freddy garcia test positve for weed too" when the whole Geovany Soto thing came out. However that did NOT stop me from making a "Soto 4:20" sign at the sox/cubs game with Michael on Saturday. It's fun- rivalries are fun.. and if you can't have fun-- then you shouldn't be a baseball fan. Because in the infamous words of Crash Davis: "This game is fun, okay?! Fun, GOD DAMNIT!"

Furthermore, I reserve the rights to edit/add to/delete any part of this blog entry as it may pertain to future sox/sports related blogs. 90% of the blogs will be about the White Sox when they pertain to sports. If you can't handle a little rib-jabbing at other teams/players in the other 10%... then you need to stop taking life so seriously. Because some day you're going to die, and we all know that God is a Sox fan.... so enjoy life on earth while you can! <3
