All I have to say about this whole Bradley/Pinella thing is...is anyone suprised???

When you invite a dog into your house that isn't housebroken, dont be suprised when it shits all over the place.....

.....and when you acquire a player like milton bradley.. dont be suprised when he acts like a total d-bag.

But you know what pisses me off about this WHOLE ORDEAL?? Is that it completely over-shadowed the entire freaking series. I heard more about this than I heard about the games. It was annoying. The Chicago media plays into this awful pro-cubbie bullshit ... (negative press is still press!!!).. as if it's a way to take away from the fact that the Cubs blew this entire series. Im not saying my sox were that great either but for christ's sake... can I hear something about the ballgame instead of the fact that sweet lou called bradley an piece of shit????? I call Bradley a piece of shit on a regular basis and so do the majority of Sox fans .. not to mention a SHIT TON of Cub fans do as well.. that man is just an embarassment to the human race in general.

(side note: it is apparently suspected that white sox personal leaked the entire story.. WHEN OH WHEN will this conspiracy against the poor cubs STOP?! There are 25+players/coaches/cub personal that probably either witnessed or at least heard the exchange between the two of them... but yet it's the Sox personnel that leaks the story. Bradley apparently called everyone who works for the White Sox "snitches." Guess what Bradely- dont do stupid shit and there wont be anything to LEAK!)

Then there was the story that came up in the Trib in which, instead of talking about baseball and the series, Lou Pinella decides to talk about a popularity contest between the Sox and the Cubs. He points out that hardly anyone showed up for the Dodgers/Sox series.

Do you want to know WHY no one showed up and why attendance was only 22,000 people? Because interleage play SUCKS! Give me a ticket to a twins/indians/tigers game ANY day.. hell I'd rather even go see the royals play before I went to see the Dodgers play. Aside from sox/cubs, interleague play has virtually no meaning at all. I might as well go see the Sox play the pirates for Christ sake.

Ozzie responds with:

Im not even going to comment on the whole "oh uh uh uh (hang tight for a mental nap) you know.. the sox only got 22,000 fans for the dodgers series last week.. uh uh uh uh" bullshit. Pleae.. please Cubbie faithfull and Chicago media.... PLEASE drag my team into the fact that the Cubs have got some really deep-seeded problems that run much deeper than the fact that they are playing horribly on the field. I hate to see MY team drug into something to advert the attention from their own problems.

If you want the attendance trophy--- you can have it! Last I checked, attendance didnt = championships.

It just irks the shit outta me that because these kids on the team can't seem to get along, it has turned into cubs vs. sox.. We're the reason pinella freaked out on Bradley.. it's our fault it got leaked... it's our fault that the cubs are going to implode. It's SHIT is what it is. Those people who say that we never worry about anything but the cubs- HELLO! It's because we get dragged into shit like this! You know... I dont ever dislike a cub player specifically because he's a cub player but this whole bradley/pinella bullshit has caused me to dislike this team even MORE than I already do. And then the whole Zambrano bullshit yesterday in the game... wtf was that all about?

Between Little Z, Weed boy, Lilly, 2-out gaffe Bradley, and Hop Along Cassidy in left... I think this is the biggest bunch of morons on any team in the majors.

Take your shit-ass team... and go back to "The Shrine", Pinella. Keep your boys in check, invest in some ridalin, and leave the chicago white sox the hell out of your rants. Just because we dont fill up a stadium on a weekday night doesnt mean we are shitty fans... and on top of it, isn't even an insult in my book. I'm not going to pay premium ticket prices for a less than spectacular product, and im not embarassed about that at all. The way the Tribune and the Chicago media market Wrigley they could put the Kane County Cougars out there and it'd still fill up. So Sox fan's aren't sheep or Iowa tourists? Good! Im proud to know that my stadium isn't a well-marketd bar... but instead is full of fans who demand nothing but the best for their team and refuse to pay the price to see a poor product on the field.
